“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” Isa 61:1
Several years ago, Natasha Kosachevich followed God’s call and quit her job, gave away all her things, and has been following Him where He leads. In January 2016, after several years of missionary work in Russia, she decided to go to Greece to begin working with girls who became victims of sex trafficking. In 2018 Natasha moved to the city of Thessaloniki to help the local efforts of opening a community center, a church plant and begin a PRO LIFE ministry.
Greece is a country with one of the highest abortion rates in Europe. There are limited to no resources available to women in abusive situations or those facing an unplanned pregnancy. The culture is a culture of abortion. Most women have had several (if not up to 10 abortions.)
This country is in desperate need of a pro life ministry that educates and offers options to girls who feel like they have none. Prevention education of young people in schools and colleges, as well as the hope and healing of restoration after past decisions to women and men.
Kipseli Community Center in the center of Thessaloniki is looking to open a safe meeting place for girls to hear about their options, as well as offering practical help to those coming out of trafficking or abused situations. We want to open a SHELTER, and a COFFEE SHOP which could offer housing and employment to those in need to get them back on their feet.
Please consider supporting our efforts financially. Anything helps. People often underestimate that A LITTLE from a lot of people can go a long way! (100 people giving only $10 adds up quickly!)
