This project is engaged in the opening and development of missionary churches in Italy under the auspices of NRC-EBF (Network of Russian-speaking Churches in the European Baptist Federation).
In particular, this ministry includes preaching the Word of God through street evangelism, personal evangelism, studying the Word of God in small groups, and ministering to people through children’s, youth and family camps. We minister in other ways as well: providing help to those in need of food and other vital resources, visiting hospitals and prisons, conducting sports ministry, and most importantly – by witnessing through our own lives.
Ilya Danilyuk is a Connect International employee and the head of this project. He is responsible for the Word of Life churches and the opening of new churches in Italy.
During the last 6 years of my ministry in Italy, thanks to God’s mercy and blessing, churches were opened in Naples, Rome, Aversa, Florence, Milan, Rimini, and small groups in Terzigno and San Giorgio. This year two smaller groups are planned to open. And all this is through the power of Him who loved us, and for the glorification of the Great and Sovereign God!
My main principles are:
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church; devotion to Scripture and Bible preaching; the fulfillment of the ministry in such a way that it maximally contributes to the glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ and our worship to the Sovereign God, as well as the ministry to people and the opening and developing of new churches for the proclamation of the Gospel in Italy and the fulfillment of the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
